If you’re looking for a thick, textured stitch for winter, this is it! This stitch is perfect if you’re looking for something warm. It would make a great scarf or cowl!

Have you heard about my Stitch Along? Each month of 2019, I will be publishing FOUR stitch patterns! To view last week’s stitch, the Blueberry Stitch, click HERE! To view a page with a list of ALL the stitch patterns released so far, click here.

Last thing before we get started on this stitch: I also created a bundle of 4 wintery stitch patterns on Etsy which can be found here. Included is the Snowball, plus 3 OTHER bobble stitch patterns written out for easy printing. Find this bundle HERE!

    1. Good question! No, if you’re using a chain stitch, you’ll need a multiple of 3. When you switch from foundation stitches to chains, you just need to add one ch to the multiple.
