Mini Crochet Lemon Keychain – Free Pattern
Another new mini crochet pattern to share today…a cute little lemon! Can I just say, I’ve always loved crochet food. It’s so much fun. So I hope you enjoy this crochet lemon keychain pattern!

Materials Needed:
- Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Size 10 (in yellow & green)
- F Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Keychain (optional)
Notes:
- Ch 1 at beginning of rows does not count as a stitch
- Pattern is worked with 2 strands of thread held together.

Instructions
Working with 2 strands of the yellow held together, Ch 3.
Row 1: 2 sc in second ch from hook and next ch, turn. (4 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, sc 2, 2 sc in last st, turn. 6 sc)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc 2, (Inc) twice, sc 2, turn. (8 sc)
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (8 sc)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc 4, sc2tog. (6 sc)
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (6 sc)
Row 8: Ch 1, Sc2tog, sc 2, sc2tog, turn. (4 sc)
Row 9: Ch 1, (sc2tog) twice. (2 sc)
Border: Sc in same st as sc2tog. Inc in next st down the side. Sc 7 evenly down the side. (Sc, ch 2, sl st in second ch from hook, sc in same st as first sc). Point made – should be in line with the top of lemon. Sc 8 up other side, inc. Sc in top of the same sc2tog, sc in next sc. join with sl st to next sc.
Leaves:
Count 3 sts back from sl st (not including sl st). Join green (still working with 2 strands held together) with a sc in that st. Ch 4. Sc in second ch from hook, dc, sc. Sl st in same st you joined into.Â
Sc in next st on lemon. Ch 5. Sc in second ch from hook, dc 2, sc. Sl st in same st from the lemon. Fasten off and weave in ends.
And that’s it! I gave this keychain as a present to my teenage sister and she loved it. I hope you love it just as much!
