Miniature Crochet Hamburger Keychain

This miniature crochet hamburger pattern is SO CUTE! Use it as a keychain, a Christmas ornament, or whatever your heart desires! Come and get the free pattern so you can make one for yourself 🙂

Miniature Hamburger Crochet Pattern

Materials Needed:

  • Worsted weight yarn in tan, dark brown, green, yellow, & red
  • G crochet hook

Cheese

Ch 7.

Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and next 5 ch. Turn. (6 sc)

Rows 2-5: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. 6 sc)

Tomato

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. 

Rnd 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: Inc in next sc, sc in next sc. Rep from * around. (18 sc)

Sl st to next st, fasten off. 

Bun (make 2): 

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. 

Rnd 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: Inc in next sc, sc in next sc. Rep from * around. (18 sc)

Rnd 4: *Inc, sc in next 5 sc. Rep from * around. (21 sc)

Sl st to next st, fasten off. 

Hamburger Patty:

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. 

Rnd 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: Inc in next sc, sc in next sc. Rep from * around. (18 sc)

Rnd 4: Sc in each st around. (18 sc)

Rnd 5: *Sc in next st, sc2tog over next st. Rep from * around. (12 sc)

Rnd 6: Sc in each st around. (12 sc)

Rnd 7: [Sc2tog] 6 times. (6 Sc2tog)

Fasten off, weave through final 6 stitches to close hole. 

Lettuce:

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. 

Rnd 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: (Sc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, sc) in each st around. (33 sc, 22 ch sps)

Fasten off. 

Finishing:

Weave in the ends of the individual pieces before sewing them together – except for one of the ends on either bun.

Situate the pieces in this order: bottom bun, patty, cheese, tomato, lettuce, top bun. Make sure they are all laying exactly how you want them to look.

Finally, use the last end to weave up and down through all the pieces a few times, until they are all secure in place. Then, tie a knot and weave in the end.

To attach a hanger, you can either use a metal keychain like I did (which makes it multipurpose! Use it as a keychain or an ornament). Or, refer to the video below to attach a yarn hanger.
