This stitch was inspired by the windows of a great cathedral. There is something so majestic about cathedrals.

I also wanted to create some stitches to represent Easter, and I figured cathedrals, churches of old, were the perfect start. Be on the lookout for other Easter-inspired stitches coming out in the next few weeks!

In case you haven’t heard, this stitch is apart of my Desert Blossom Stitch Along running all throughout 2019! I am publishing four stitch patterns per month—one per week. If you haven’t joined yet, it’s not too late! The great thing about this is that you can jump in at any time. Be sure to join the Stitch Along community in my Facebook group HERE.

Last thing before we get started on this stitch: If you want to get ahead on the stitches for April, I created a bundle of 4 Spring stitch patterns on Etsy which can be found here. Included is the Cathedral Stitch, plus 3 OTHER lace stitch patterns (all of the ones coming in April!) The stitches are written out for easy printing.
