How to Crochet the Lilac Stitch
Stitch #2 for April…the Lilac Stitch!

April just makes me think of Easter…and Easter makes me think of the classic pastel colors; especially yellow and purple.
I designed this stitch with the pastel purple color matched with a flowery looking stitch. The result reminded me of lilacs!
Have you heard about my Stitch Along? I am running a series all throughout 2019 where I publish four stitch patterns per month—one per week. If you haven’t joined yet, it’s not too late! The great thing about this is that you can jump in at any time. Be sure to join the Stitch Along community in my Facebook group HERE.

You can also view the master list of stitches that have been released so far by clicking HERE! There are definitely some more cool ones you will want to check out. Last week’s stitch was the Cathedral Stitch.
Last thing before we get started on this stitch: If you want to get ahead on the stitches for April, I created a bundle of 4 Spring stitch patterns on Etsy which can be found here. Included is the Lilac Stitch, plus 3 OTHER lace stitch patterns (all of the ones coming in April!) The stitches are written out for easy printing. Find this bundle HERE!
