There’s nothing that quite evokes a holiday spirit more than snuggling up by a fire in a cozy blanket. And why not make it extra Christmas-y with a festive pattern? But with so many crochet Christmas blanket patterns out there, narrowing it down to the right one can be a tricky, intimidating process. There are many ways you can make a festive Christmas crochet blanket customized for your own home. Of course, you can find patterns specifically designed for Christmas (which I’ll show you lots of soon!)

But if you want a simple Christmas blanket, an easy way is to find ANY simple pattern, and use Christmas colors! You can even use a basic stitch like half double crochet and create a blanket by making a large rectangle with stripes of red and green.
