I’m excited to share with you a fun new & free crochet stitch pattern called the Sunburst stitch!

I love the feeling of Spring when the cold starts to melt away and the sun comes shining through. While the weather is usually fickle where I live (you’ll think its getting warmer, and then there will be a sudden frost) this is always how I imagined Spring should be. Haha.

Anyway, the Sunburst Stitch is a pretty lace stitch pattern perfect for Spring! It is part of my larger stitch library, which includes over 40 stitch patterns altogether!

Access the free stitch library here, or keep scrolling to learn about the Sunburst Stitch!

In addition to that library, you can also check out a bunch of crochet stitches perfect for scarves, masculine crochet stitches, and even advanced crochet stitches.

I’m excited to share with you a beautiful crochet stitch called the Blueberry Stitch! We will use puff stitches and double crochet to get a super cute effect. Use this stitch for scarves, blankets, and more!

The Blueberry Stitch sprung to life awhile ago when I was experimenting with puff stitches.

There’s just something about crocheted texture, ya know?

I love the endless combinations that can be formed when you combine texture with simple stitches.

As mentioned, this stitch is a nice combination of puffs and double crochet blocks. I love it so much!

Speaking of puff stitches – if you’re unfamilar with them, don’t worry! I have a video tutorial for you; just keep scrolling to the “special stitches” section.

How to Use the Blueberry Stitch

Now, one thing you might be wondering is how you can actually USE the blueberry stitch in projects.

I highly encourage you to make a swatch (a small square) of this stitch to try it out first.

Then, once you’re familiar with it, you can make it into anything you want!

I’ve seen various people post pictures of blankets & scarves they have made from this stitch pattern. It’s so cool, and I welcome it!

    containerEl: '#fd-form-676dcd91296ca23862a40fff'
  });

Stitch Library

By the way, did you know I have a whole library of crochet stitches? There’s lots more stitches that use puff stitches, bobbles, lace and more. View the master list here!

In addition to that list, I also have a bunch of crochet stitches perfect for scarves, masculine crochet stitches, and even advanced crochet stitches that you can check out.

Ad-Free Stitch Bundle

Last thing before we get started on this stitch: I created a bundle of 4 wintery stitch patterns in my store which can be found here. Included is the Blueberry Stitch, plus 3 OTHER textured stitch patterns written out for easy printing.
Disclosure. This post may contain affiliate links.

Lately I have been working non-stop on some exciting plans for 2019…and its finally time to tell you guys about it!

To Pin this article to your Pinterest Boards, click HERE.

Before I go into details, let me give you some background.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now. Since I pressed publish on my site, it has been quite the wild ride! Why do I say that? Well, trying to figure out how to drive traffic to your blog so you can actually turn it into a business isn’t easy!

But along the way, I’ve found one type of article to be immensely popular—helpful tutorials and stitch patterns. Sometimes these types of articles will get WAY more views than even some of my favorite patterns!

I kept thinking to myself—why? As I considered it, I came to a few conclusions. I think in some cases, people simply want to learn a new skill, or develop different skills within crocheting. In other cases, I think people like to be given the tools they need to express their OWN creativity. For example, you can take stitch patterns and turn them into absolutely anything!

Sign up for my email list to get insider news, free patterns, and more!

SO…with all this in mind, I decided I wanted to stretch my own creativity and come up with something that would help YOU be able to express YOUR creativity!

Which is why today, I am super excited to announce the beginning of my 2019 Crochet Stitch Along!

What is it?

So, here is what I will be doing. Each month of 2019, I will be releasing FOUR stitch patterns—one per week.

The stitch patterns will all be geared toward a specific theme. For example, January’s theme is winter bobbles.

We will all be crocheting along together and learning one new stitch per week. If you want to expand your crochet knowledge, this would be the perfect opportunity!

If you want to get a head start, I have a special listing on Etsy that is a pre-order for the entire library of 48 stitches! Details for this are available when you click HERE.
